About this opportunity
We are looking for a developer for the control system software that will focus on cyber security implementation. You shall have security-oriented mindset and have a microscopic eye reading through bits and bytes. You shall have excellent opportunities to learn the latest of the art in cryptographic algorithms.
We provide the SW platform for radio products also known as the auxiliary control system (XCS) and is a Linux based control system. We ensure that the radio boots in secure mode and makes sure that radio is protected from cyber threats.
We can offer a rich number of opportunities in an everyday learning, creative and exciting atmosphere where Stockholm is our base, but the world is our arena. We belong to PEU Radio Unit Software and have a close cooperation with development of Radio products with other sites across the globe.
What you will do
- You will drive strategic technical leadership in cyber security
- Co-operating with other Ericsson units for HW, SW and ASIC
- Developing and testing high quality products
- Perform trouble shooting internally and on customer networks as well as handling customer support in general
- Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
- Develop competence in technical domain
You will bring
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Wireless Communication or equivalent.
- At least 5 years proven ability in product development with a good understanding of systemization, design, and verification.
- Several years of experience working with C/C++ in an embedded environment.
- Competence working in Linux user space and kernel space, incl. driver development.
- Experience from SW development in a Linux environment using e.g. GIT, Gerrit, Junit, Jenkins, Nexus, Bash/Shell, Artifactory.
- Ability to work with highly competent colleagues and across organizational boundaries.
- Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
- A large degree of flexibility and willingness to address different tasks.
Candidate needs basic understanding of:
- Cryptography (symmetric/asymmetric cyphers, encryption).
- Open-source products like openssl and mbedTLS libraries.
- Bare metal programming concepts: low level access, PCI bus, memory mapped devices etc.
- ARM Cortex A53 /ARM Cortex M7/ Xilinx Zync MPSoC / Intel technology.
