As an RF Filter Design Engineer, you will focus on the research, design, and development of high-performance filters that are critical to the functionality of our radio products. You’ll work with a team of world-class RF engineers to ensure that our filters meet stringent requirements for insertion loss, selectivity, power handling, and linearity — all while balancing cost, size, and manufacturability.

What You Will Do:

  • Design and optimize RF filters (e.g., cavity, ceramic, SAW/BAW, LTCC, dielectric) for wireless communication systems
  • Perform electromagnetic simulations and circuit-level modeling using tools like HFSS, CST, ADS, or equivalent
  • Validate filter performance through prototyping and lab measurements (e.g., using VNA, spectrum analyzer, PIM tester)
  • Collaborate with system architects, RF designers, mechanical engineers, and suppliers to ensure filter integration within the radio unit
  • Support DVT, reliability testing, and failure analysis for filter-related issues
  • Drive technology innovation in miniaturized and high-selectivity filtering techniques
  • Prepare technical documentation including design reports, tuning procedures, and production specifications
  • Support qualification and industrialization of filters with external partners

You will bring

  • Master’s degree or above in RF/Microwave Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline
  • Strong theoretical understanding of passive RF filter design principles and transmission line theory
  • Hands-on experience designing filters for base stations, mobile devices, or RF modules
  • Proficient in EM and circuit simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST, ADS, AWR)
  • Skilled in using RF lab instruments including VNA, spectrum analyzer, and PIM measurement systems
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good teamwork, communication, and documentation skills in a collaborative environment
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-power RF filters, multi-band filters, or tunable filters
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes for cavity, ceramic, or LTCC filters
  • Knowledge of 3GPP specifications and radio performance requirements
  • Experience working with external suppliers or ODMs
