About this opportunity:
We are now looking for a Business Support System Catalog & Order Management Support Engineer.
The Support Engineer typically interacts with customer technical staff, operation managers, service engineers, Service Delivery Managers, and other groups within the Service Delivery organization. You may also interact with groups in Global Support and R&D, 3rd party solution providers.
You will work, collaborate, and communicate in an international environment, both with colleagues internally as well as with customers and 3PP to Ericsson.
What you will do:
- Working with assigned Customer Service Requests (CSR) on Ericsson applications, using support tools and according to support processes and procedures.
- Analyse Application/platform problems and identify suitable solutions to these problems.
- Fix and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks.
- Through contact with external customers, capture data and information about any specific problem that has been reported to Ericsson.
- Work, collaborate, and communicate in an international environment, both with colleagues internally as well as customers and 3rd Party Teams.
- You may have the opportunity to travel internationally and work in different cultural environments.
- Long-term work with Cloud-based Ericsson solutions.
Requirements
The skills you bring:
- At least 5-year Experience and expertise in Catalog and Order Management domain, ECM (Ericsson Catalog Manager) / EOC (Ericsson Order Care) competence is must, while other BSS systems (Charging System, BSCS, EMM) knowledge is a plus
- Must have experience working on Business Process, workflows, Interface calls, etc.
- Existing experience on delivering projects in EOC/ECM/ON/OM or part of an ADM team.
- Experience in configuration of products with respect to SID model in Catalog & publishing.
- Familiar with service provisioning through the Digital CRM platform, with a thorough understanding of order orchestration flow using Ericsson Order Care and Ericsson Catalogue Management.
- Strong knowledge of Prepaid Lifecycle and Postpaid Bill Cycle concepts, demonstrating your expertise.
- Knowledge in Catalog driven orchestration framework.
- Experience in usage of Business rules, info models, etc.
- Experience in EOC Exception handling, Workflow manager and other Error handlings.
- Experience with developing Business processes in EOC.
- Familiarity with REST, SOAP, XML, and network protocols like TCP, HTTP, and HTTPS, demonstrating your proficiency in essential communication protocols.
Requirements
- Experience with XML/XSD/JSON & Java, Velocity Studio and Java scripting.
- Skilled in managing Cassandra, EDB Database with a solid grasp of their functionalities
- Experience handling Production defects.
- Understanding of all of the components of our platform and infrastructure is required. Ex ECCD or AWS
- Expected to gain understanding on the existing application and flow.
- Proficient in cloud technologies with the ability to manage Kubernetes-based solutions. CKA qualification is an advantage.
- Maintaining the stability, functionality, and performance of the platform by implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
- Experience in setting up dashboards using observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or NewRelic.
- Prior experience in DevOps and agile environments, showcasing your ability to thrive in collaborative and fast-paced settings.
- Ability to independently solve complex technical issues and effectively troubleshoot intricate problems.
- Knowledge of upstream IT OSS/BSS platforms, highlighting a broader understanding of the IT landscape.
