Our exciting opportunity here for you! We are now looking for an individual contributor role of BSS Solution Architect in Armenia. An Ericsson Solution Architect is a key member of a service delivery team, also supporting pre-sales work, responsible for analysing, designing and developing commercially viable technical solutions in their respective technical domain (BSS and related areas) based on customer business needs and specifications, responsible for short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson by being part of or working closely with a Core 3 team to translate the customer need and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions and proposals. An Ericsson Solution Architect is data- and value-driven to effectively manage technical design of solutions, and is able to manage technical discussion with customer technical and business representatives, as well as with rest of the team members.
What you will do
• Support our customers in making most use of the Ericsson BSS family of solutions, notably including Ericsson Charging, and neighbouring solutions in Core, OSS, etc.
• Support customers in working with modern infrastructure, bare metal, cloud and otherwise.
• Bring to the customer supporting knowledge of and skill with security, AI, and/or other related areas.
• Conduct in-depth discussions with customers regarding their business and technology strategy and key challenges.
• Perform analysis of the customer technology and business environment and requirements (aka non-functional requirements), as well analysis of customer improvement areas and challenges related to both technology and business.
• Work with a Core 3 team on list of potential activities and solutions, to develop and construct value argumentation.
• Develop technical presentations (with business awareness), perform customer presentations.
• Contribute to business case modelling around the customer solution, investigate current customer systems and networks.
• Lead solution readiness workshops, lead or support Ericsson solution reviews and analysis for Customer Support security services.
• Contribute to creating technically- and business-appropriate proposals, find possible reuse of documents, lead and contribute to solutions creation and description.
• Provide cost/effort estimates and pricing to solution, propose suitable 3PP with requirements for solution, design customer adaptations.
• Specify hardware and software to order, provide input into technical resource requirements.
• Present solution internally within Ericsson, handshake solution with stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and input to delivery team, support PMO with technical solution structure, manage resolution of technical problems and prepare for Solution Life Cycle Management.
• Define, clarify and agree customer requirements, participate in risk analysis.
• Participate in on-the-job training, read up on new technology / technical areas, develop course material as subject matter expert, share information to enable customer competence build.
• Coach and mentor to enable internal competence build, support deployment of solution, make presentations of solutions in seminars / conferences.
The skills you will bring
• University or College Degree in Engineering or IT (including optional Telecom focus) or the equivalent theoretical background acquired through experience.
• Further qualifications of relevance can be considered.
• Technical certification (such as ETCP, etc) in relevant Portfolio Competence.
• Experience from a technical job role is required, e.g. prior experience from working as an Integration Engineer or Software Developer, Support Engineer or Solution Designer, Architect.
