About this opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Tools Vendor & Contract Lifecycle Manager to oversee the procurement, evaluation, negotiation, and lifecycle management of all IT tools and vendor contracts across our IT4IT tools organization. This role is critical in optimizing tool usage, ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and supporting effective financial and vendor relationship management.

What you will do:

- Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors while identifying new sourcing opportunities. Evaluate vendor performance against SLAs, support responsiveness, and renewal terms.

- Contract Lifecycle Management: Track and manage all contract milestones, including renewals, expirations, and renegotiation periods. Maintain an organized repository of all IT tools contracts and licensing agreements. Proactively flag contracts for review or renegotiation to ensure continuity and cost-effectiveness.

- Procurement & Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations for IT4IT tool acquisitions, renewals, and support agreements. Collaborate with legal, finance, sourcing, and security teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards. Support RFPs, RFIs, and vendor assessments when onboarding new tools.

- Budget & Cost Optimization: Support annual IT4IT budgeting for tools and software. Work with internal stakeholders to eliminate tool redundancies and optimize license usage. Provide visibility into software spend and contract obligations.

- Tool Governance & Reporting: Establish and maintain KPIs for contract and vendor performance. Support IT4IT audit, compliance, and governance activities. Deliver regular reporting to IT4IT leadership on contract status, risks, and opportunities.

The skills you bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in IT vendor management, software procurement, or IT sourcing.

- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing multi-million-dollar vendor contracts.

- Familiarity with IT4IT tooling landscape and industry movement in this area.

- Working knowledge of contract terms, legal risk, and software licensing models (e.g., SaaS, perpetual, subscription).

- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with IT4IT or managing tooling within large-scale IT organizations.

- Knowledge of Asset management tools (e.g., Flexera, Snow Software, etc.).

- ITIL, FinOps, or similar certifications.
