Ericsson Security Manager is a visionary, industry-leading product in security management and security assurance for 5G networks.

We are looking for a Mid-level product designer with strong experience working in B2B environment.

In this role, you will be joining our UX team embedded in a medium-sized product development community. You will be working in one of our product areas with another designer, while contributing to the development of UX team ways of working, design system and UX patterns.

The product you will be working with doesn’t focus on eye-catching visuals or impressive animations. The unique challenge as a designer will be crafting a user experience that allows people to absorb extensive technical data without feeling overwhelmed. When our UX Design Team succeeds, our users will feel in control of the data and our customers will gain valuable insights from the product.

Collaboration and proactivity are important in this role, and you will be working in close contact with the product management, product owners, product designers, security specialists, and software developers across different countries. Our UX team collaborates with a wider Ericsson design community, and we have Ericsson’s own Design System to support our work.

Role responsibilities
• Translate customers’ processes, needs, and challenges into concrete UX concept proposals and designs for your product area
• Support development of product area roadmaps by sharing understanding of user needs and actively involving your colleagues (for example developers, product owner’s, etc) in your design process.
• Be responsible for your product area’s design process and produce high quality design documentation with needed design artefacts like user journeys , Figma wireframes and/or high-fidelity designs and clickable mockups
• Provide the rationale for your design decisions based on user needs and best practices. Take in the feedback of others and use it to improve your design.
• Plan and conduct user research for your product area.
