Radio Unit Software:

Radio Unit Software drives the end-to-end research and development of Ericsson’s radio products and solutions.

We are a global organization, within Radio & Transport Engineering, with engineers and developers collaborating across sites in Canada, China, Croatia, Poland, and Sweden to drive Ericsson’s strategy of securing our market leadership in radio.

Our Exciting Opportunity:

Development and maintenance of two important simulation tools called ORUsim and ORCtool, used in NG-OLLs oriented verification areas. They are built on Free Open-Source Solutions that should be up to date according to the latest standards and releases.

What you will do:

You will join a small and experienced team where close cooperation is equally important as independent work. Your daily work will consist of:

• Configure and integrate FOSS solutions
• Develop new features and tool improvements
• Handle own and support client test environment deployments
• Troubleshoot issues with test tools and use cases
• Work with standards and available documentation

The skills you bring:

• Virtualization in various environments (Linux and Microsoft Windows)
• Linux system configuration and administration
• Network configuration and administration
• DevOps, test environment configuration, Jenkins, Eiffel etc.

Nice to have:

• Yocto build system + open embedded
• Linux kernel
• Programming (C, Bash, TCL, Python)
• Telecommunication - o-ran, 5G, protocols, standards
• NETCONF/RESTCONF, YANG

We work in a hybrid mode - 3 days from the Kraków office, 2 days from home weekly.
