About this opportunity:

This dynamic role not only involves analysis, auditing, design, and optimization of telecom networks but also spans various domains such as RAN, Transport, Core, OM and Services Networks. Our Network Engineer is a crucial part of our process ranging from early engagement, pre-sales of services and networks, to service delivery and acceptance. This role demands a deep technical understanding to deliver high-quality network design, advanced technical network analysis, role in pre-sales tasks, proficiency with Ericsson's cutting-edge analytics solutions, a commitment to driving innovation, and an emphasis on customer-focus and quality service delivery.
What you will do:
● Minimum 4-7 years of experience in network engineering with a specific focus on Cisco ACI & Routing/Switching.
● Solid understanding and experience in managing Data center LAN
● Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI fabric(including design, implementation, and support),data center migrations, Nexus switches, and Telco Data Center networking.
● Solid hands-on experience on Cisco ASR router e.g-ASR-9903, Cisco Nexus 9K switches.
● In depth understanding of ACI components such as leaf/spine architecture,VMM integration and multi-site deployments.
● In-depth understanding of ACI concepts like EPGs,BD,vPC, VXLAN,pcTag,VNID,Contracts,L2out,L3out.
● In depth understanding of networking protocols (BGP,OSPF,EIGRP,MPLS,HSRP,IPSEC,VPN,NAT,LACP,DNS,DHCP,NTP).
● Good understanding of Telco technology like RAN,5G & 4G components used in the Telco environment.
● Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python scripting, etc.).
● Familiarity with cloud platforms like Openstack,Openshift and Kubernetes.
● Develop and execute activities related to end-to-end migration/Proof of Concepts(POC)/Design/Solution/ project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment. Proactively monitor,manage and report on execution of deliverables.
● Good troubleshooting experience on multiple networking
The skills you bring:
● Optimize ACI fabric performance, troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues and assist in scaling and expanding the Cisco ACI infrastructure.
● Design, configure, and maintain network topologies, including telco data center networking, routing, and switching.
● Provide troubleshooting expertise for network-related issues across ACI and traditional network environments.
● Analyze network traffic and performance, identifying bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and potential optimizations.
● Offer second and third-line support for escalated network issues and perform root cause analysis.
● Work closely with application owners, system administrators, and other teams to design and implement network solutions.
● Maintain detailed documentation of ACI configurations, network design, policies, and troubleshooting procedures.
● Conduct network performance assessments and capacity planning to ensure scalability.
