As a People Business Partner, you will work with our People leaders to ensure we develop and maintain diverse, inclusive, and compliant teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong desire to work with a high-performing and collaborative People (HR) team and possesses the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering results within tight deadlines. Additionally, you ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and ethical business practices.
What You Will Do
• You will be part of the People team of 8 People Business Partners for Customer Unit (CU) Western Europe (2 Netherlands, 5 Germany, and 1 Switzerland), working from the Netherlands (office location Breda) together with the Head of People Netherlands, with our local Admin Support and Payroll teams. Your manager (CU WE Head of People) is based in Germany (Düsseldorf).
• You will be driving Wellbeing, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Compliance, and Talent Development initiatives like our GenNext community.
• As a modern People Business Partner, you will be able to use Data Analytics and AI to give advice and influence our Leaders based on data and facts.
• Pro-actively take part in our People Programs, like setting a higher standard on Talent, Ericsson on the Move and will help us to become the Best Tech employer & Preferred Place to work.
• Collaborate with leadership and employees to develop and implement People strategies that align with our business objectives, enhance our performance, and foster a positive organizational culture.
• Encourage and advice our Leaders on Total Reward related matters, Leadership, Performance Management, Learning and Development.
• Build a partnership with our leaders by providing consultation, guidance, metrics, support, and development to increase the effectiveness of their organization.
• Ensure compliance with business ethics, company policies and labor laws.
• Working together with other departments outside of the People department (e.g. Car Fleet Management, Sourcing and Finance) on People related topics.
What you bring
• Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s (Universiteit) degree in HR Management or a related field
• At least 6 years’ relevant HR experience as a People Business Partner, HR Business Partner, or senior HR Advisor in a dynamic business environment (preferably in a matrix organization)
• Advanced interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
• Comfortable and experienced with interacting with a variety of stakeholders across organizational levels
• Experience in being the interface to the local works council
• Project and change management skills, with a background in organizational development
• Experience with leading projects from planning to implementation
• Strategic thinking capabilities and experience with implementing a structured approach to complex topics
• Experience with People Analytics and data-driven decision-making
• Experience with AI is an advantage
• Conflict Management skills and experience
• Strong excel and power point skills
• Ability to manage own well being and being resilient in a fast paced environment
• Fast learner, pro- active and agile way of working with ability to adapt to a continuously changing environment
• Knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and regulations, including Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter) and RVU (Regeling Vervroegde Uitdiensttreding).
• Experience with International Mobility is an advantage.
• Empathetic, flexible, and resilient, with a strong focus on both strategic as well es operational topics
• Coaching and advisory skills, with the ability to support and inspire leaders.
• Excellent command of Dutch (preferably native) and strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
