About the Role:
The MMEA legal team is one of five market units within Ericsson Group Function Legal Affairs and Compliance. The primary objective of the MMEA legal team is to provide legal support to the MMEA region in accordance with GFLA's mission. This is an exciting moment for our region, and we need a leader who can drive intelligent value creation by acting as "Glue" across the Group, championing transparency and constructive challenge, and protecting company value and reputation. As the Head of Legal CU C&E Africa, you'll be responsible for all legal matters within your assigned Territory. You'll also spearhead the establishment of our Employment center of excellence for the entire MMEA region.
You will report to the Regional General Counsel- head of legal MMEA and lead a team of 2 attorneys. This is a unique chance to shape the future of our legal function and contribute to Ericsson's growth and success.

- Customer-Facing: Join Ericsson's team and play a crucial role in managing customer relationships, negotiating, and closing deals across the assigned territory.
What You'll Bring:
- Top-Tier Legal Acumen: You're a seasoned legal professional with at least 10 years of experience in a corporate in-house setting or at a leading law firm. Experience in the tech/telecommunications industry is a plus.
- Strategic Mindset: You possess strong business acumen and a strategic mindset. You can think critically, analyze complex situations, and provide sound legal advice that supports business objectives.
- Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You're an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You can build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels, and you're adept at navigating challenging conversations.
- A Growth Mindset: You're a passionate and driven individual with a desire to learn and grow. You embrace change and are eager to contribute to the evolution of Ericsson's legal function.
