The Planning BOM Analyst is responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance, and optimization of planning Bills of Material to support accurate forecasting, production planning, and inventory control. This role serves as a critical link between engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and finance to ensure that BOM structures align with business objectives and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
· BOM Strategy & Governance
o Develop and implement BOM management strategies that support planning accuracy and operational efficiency.
o Establish and enforce BOM standards, policies, and procedures across the organization.
· Planning & Forecasting Support
o Collaborate with demand planning and supply chain teams to ensure BOMs support accurate material requirements planning (MRP).
o Analyze BOM structures to identify opportunities for cost savings, lead time reduction, and improved forecast accuracy.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Partner with engineering and product development to ensure timely and accurate BOM creation for new products.
o Work with manufacturing and procurement to validate BOMs against actual production and sourcing requirements.
· Data Integrity & System Management
o Maintain BOM data integrity within ERP systems (Oracle).
o Lead audits and data cleansing initiatives to ensure BOM accuracy and completeness.
· Continuous Improvement
o Identify and implement process improvements to streamline BOM creation and maintenance.
o Monitor KPIs related to BOM accuracy, planning effectiveness, and inventory performance.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
· 2+ years of experience in BOM management, supply chain planning, or manufacturing operations.
· Strong understanding of ERP systems and MRP processes.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
· Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
· Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
· Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools
Ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive change

Compensation Range:
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $95,147-$139,549 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
