Position Overview:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overall maintenance and supervision of Entrust’s Global Headquarters facility. The candidate will manage an internal team of facilities technicians, janitorial and administrative staff, as well as outsourced teams. They will be responsible for managing the vendor relationships and expectations necessary to manage the facility. The Facilities Manager will be accountable for executing the items detailed below and for performing other duties as assigned.

Position Overview:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overall maintenance and supervision of Entrust’s Global Headquarters facility. The candidate will manage an internal team of facilities technicians, janitorial and administrative staff, as well as outsourced teams. They will be responsible for managing the vendor relationships and expectations necessary to manage the facility. The Facilities Manager will be accountable for executing the items detailed below and for performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Facilities Management

  • Daily oversight of space and facilities staff, both first and second shift
  • General oversight and management of all facility aspects, including grounds keeping, building maintenance, and janitorial responsibilities.
  • Actively participate in the Corporate Safety Committee, Emergency Response team, and Environmental Committee.
  • Design and implement policies and processes to ensure the operational effectiveness of the workplace and grounds. This includes all areas related to furniture inventory, safety, security, facility emergency preparedness, housekeeping, office equipment and utility management.
  • Responsible for maintenance, repair and updates of all corporate offices
  • Manage 3rd party contractors, policies, and procedures related to maintaining the facility

Strategy Development

  • Responsible for strategic planning of space at the company’s global headquarters.
  • Partner with colleagues to assess, plan, design and implement appropriate interior space and services for staff, material and equipment at Global Headquarters location.
  • Prepare cost benefit analysis and recommendations on facility requirements or changes.
  • Propose, forecast and operate within the annual maintenance budget, including operational and capital expenses.

People Leadership

  • Provide strong organization leadership to Facilities team. Hire, grow and retain talent to ensure delivery to goals and objectives
  • Provide timely updates on progress towards goals and objectives
  • Establish and ensure effective corporate and market segment relationships in order to leverage key resources for supporting and growing the business
  • Build and develop a strong, high performing team. In partnership with Human Resources, implement effective talent planning, including evaluating current and future needs for hiring, developing or restructuring positions for organizational effectiveness
  • Leads through the demonstration of Entrust’s values

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate facilities management
  • 5+ years of experience in people management
  • Purchasing experience and management of 3rd party contractors
  • Demonstrated project management and construction management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and multiple stakeholders
  • Proven detail orientation and PC skills
  • Ability to create and read complex schedules and to conduct financial/business analysis
  • Ability to be a proactive self-starter and require minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated strong decision-making skills with the ability to weigh alternatives/options and make the proper business recommendations/decisions
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in corporate facilities management
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing direct reports who perform general maintenance tasks in the building and on the grounds

Compensation Range:


The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $88,688-$130,075 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
