Position Overview:

The Sr. Sales ExecutiveBusiness Development will be responsible for the development and execution of plans to enable the growth and acceleration of our Onfido sales Identity organization.

Some of the key activities included in this role are: recruiting, contract negotiation, onboarding, sales enablement, goal setting, quarterly business reviews, co-marketing initiatives, events and conferences planning and execution, and ongoing performance management.

You will be working in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success teams.

Responsibilities:

Key Actions/Activities

  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects / targets and evaluating their position in the industry.

  • Research and analyze market, competitors, strategies, sales options, including partnerships / alliances and channel plays.

  • Creation and presentation of key sales materials.

  • Organize and coordinate team selling, including account managers, bid management and technical resources.

  • Contribute to account planning and forecasting.

  • Develop relationships with appropriate customers to influence strategies related to product development and in pursuit of defined opportunities.

  • Drive and close sales for achievement of annual commitments.

  • Stay abreast of new product or capabilities development that can impact or benefit sales activity.

  • Participate in marketing and product activities that will need input from sales.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of competitive offerings within marketplace.

  • Develop and maintain close relationship to associations and other entities that may impact markets covered by the team.

  • Leverage impeccable pipeline building and tracking and financial planning solutions through timely and comprehensive use of the CRM system and other reports/tools available.

  • Create annual/quarterly business plans and reviews to ensure performance against plan and strategic imperatives

  • Accurately forecast orders and manage funnel of opportunities

  • Build strong and open cross-functional relationships with superiors, peers and team to coordinate resources.

  • May act as escalation point to resolve complex issues.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Track record of consultative selling and team selling.

  • 5+ years’ experience in business-to-business sales capacity or equivalent.

  • 5+ years’ enterprise sales experience providing custom solutions to customers.

  • Successful track record of developing sales, service, bid management and solutions delivery.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with customers and colleagues

  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

  • Travel Requirements: Minimum of 50%, some international travel is expected.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Experience in the Identity Verification industry.

  • Prior Experience in Business Consulting.

Compensation Range:


The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $106,873-$156,747 per year (in the primary posting location). This position is also eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience and actual performance against the assigned sales compensation plan.
