Reporting to the Global VP of Digital Security Sales, the Regional Vice President of APAC Sales is accountable for driving Entrust sales across the APAC region, across customers in strategic, enterprise, commercial, and government segments. The RVP is responsible for all regional growth, leading a team of sales professionals to drive new business growth and market penetration across APAC for Entrust’s Digital Security Solutions portfolio, which includes authentication, digital certificates, HSM, and data protection offerings.

Responsibilities

Commercial & Sales Management

  • Implement sales strategies to achieve the assigned annual plan and growth targets; communicate and assign these targets to the sales team.

  • Provide impeccable forecasting and financial planning through timely and comprehensive use of the CRM system and other available tools for accurate pipeline build-up and planning purposes. Regularly provide sales and pipeline forecasts to Senior Management.

  • Work closely with field sales teams to create and execute dynamic account and close plans.

  • Review and assist with the preparation of quotations or bids.

  • Drive the region to achieve annual objectives and quarterly commitments through pipeline build and a combination of upsell/cross-sell growth and new logo acquisition.

  • Monitor competitor sales efforts and strategies; ensure market intelligence is passed to the

  • Help devise innovative sales campaigns and GTM programs.

  • Marketing function and Senior Management.

  • Review the impact of new Entrust product releases, new product features, delivery schedules, and competitor offerings with the sales team.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build relationships with senior executive across customer accounts, Entrust Partners, and important prospects. Actively engage in customer visits, presentations, executive briefings, and sales meetings.

  • Cultivate top-to-bottom relationships with key accounts and priority customers, representing Entrust in a manner that builds trade equity and enhances the positive perception of our brand.

  • Attend relevant industry events and trade shows to ensure Entrust brand recognition within the marketplace, including speaking engagements.

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead a high-performing team and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Perform general management responsibilities such as hiring, performance management against regional goals, completing performance reviews, and individual development plans.

  • Act as an escalation point for issues and provide leadership and guidance to the team.

  • Lean-in and provide coaching to staff and teams, helping them develop and improve every day.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in quota-carrying sales within the Asia Region with a successful track record, and at least 5 years in Cybersecuity software sales.

  • Proven track record of leading sales teams across multiple APAC regions, with at least 8 years of experience in Sales Management building successful sales teams with experience managing multiple geographies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, or other related fields.

  • Ability to deal with multiple Routes-to-Market: direct sales with end users and indirect sales through Channel partners. Must have a thorough understanding of the Enterprise channel across Asia.

  • Track record of relevant and successful software sales experience – preferably “business solution selling” of security software products or Enterprise infrastructure.

  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence.

  • Must be able to lawfully work within Asia.

  • Willing to travel across Asia and to the US, possibly 40%-60% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization, including CEO, CFO, and Solution Segments leaders.

  • Excellent understanding of sales processes across different customer segments: Enterprise, Commerical and Governments across the APAC region.

  • Skilled at providing leadership, direction, and feedback to team members and remote field sales staff.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally at both senior and individual contributor levels.

  • Able to model desired behaviors in a corporate environment.

  • Experience in a leadership role in a large multinational company, especially in Enterprise cybersecurity.

  • Experience managing both local and remote team members in a complex matrix environment.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
