Overview
Branch Compensation is responsible for the timely & accurate payment of all elements of Financial Advisor Compensation including Commissions, New FA Compensation, Trimester Bonus, Travel Award Program, etc. This position will work in collaboration with the Branch Compensation Department Leader to ensure team responsibilities, both recurring and ad hoc, are completed timely and accurately. This includes general ledger account reconciliations, journal entries, process improvements, process control enhancements, Financial Advisor escalations, Financial Advisor policy enhancements, compensation education and communication and collaborating with product teams on automation.
Branch Compensation is a fast-paced, highly complex environment with each associate responsible for many key processes throughout the month. Therefore, understanding upstream and downstream impacts of Financial Advisor Compensation, the ability to plan, organize and prioritize, think strategically, assist others and solve problems from routine to complex are crucial to the role.

What You'll Do
- Administer multiple commission, bonus, and other incentive compensation programs ensuring complete, accurate, and timely calculations for 19,000+ Financial Advisors across US and Canada.
- Develop and execute internal controls required for accurate calculation and payment of incentive compensation.
- Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement of processes. Drive process improvements and efficiencies while being able to meet monthly close schedules.
- Maintain and execute overall training program for the department on incentive compensation processes. Identify and address gaps in training.
- Provide excellent customer service to financial advisors, while ensuring team service goals are met. Resolve complex inquiries in respects to incentive compensation.
- Develop and present business insights to senior leadership, providing recommendations through analyzing large volumes of data or transactions of high dollar amounts.
- Prepare and reconcile incentive compensation reports on a monthly basis from multiple different sources and systems. Investigate and resolve differences.

- Collaborate with Compensation Analysts to ensure accurate and timely accounting entries and financial reporting of incentive programs.
- Operate with minimal supervision on projects with significant interface across the department.

What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in accounting, finance or related field
- Ability to work with others to accomplish tasks within specific deadlines and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, including advanced Excel skills
- Master's degree
- 6+ years of related experience in accounting, finance or related field
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization tools
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials
