The Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics business provides leading naval computing infrastructure, network and data distribution and middleware enterprise services, as well as world-class manufacturing and support capabilities.

Job Summary

Perform professional administrative work of an introductory nature for our Naval Electronics Contracts/Compliance team in preparation for career advancement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform entry-level professional administrative staff duties in support of the Contracts/Compliance functional area, gradually increasing in level of difficulty and responsibility
  • Project a professional company image through all interactions
  • Draft documents and electronic information
  • Prepare routine reports with guidance
  • Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications
  • May Assist in arranging meetings, conferences, and project team activities
  • Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Currently enrolled in an institution for higher learning pursuing a relatable degree
  • Ability to communicate successfully
  • Ability to efficiently utilize standard office software and computer equipment
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
