Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of dental instruments and equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of sterilization processes, medical terminology, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working alongside a caring team of professionals that strive to place the patients oral health needs first, ensuring comprehensive care plans for today and years to come.

  • Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment following established protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist in the preparation of instruments for dental procedures, ensuring all tools are properly cleaned and sterilized.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to infection control standards.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks of sterilization supplies and report any shortages or needs.
  • Stay updated on best practices in sterilization techniques and participate in ongoing training sessions.
