What will your typical day look like?

As a Client Account Manager at the Senior Manager level, you will work directly with Lead Client Service Partners and account leadership teams to shape account strategy, strengthen client relationships, enable strategic opportunities and create the conditions for profitable growth. You will act as a trusted advisor and connector, bringing together Deloitte’s talent, capabilities, assets and insights to deliver a distinctive and consistent client experience.

Grounded in our CAM/PM pillars of Client Centric, Deloitte Authority and Leadership Presence, you will translate strategy into execution, opportunity into impact and relationships into results. You will combine meaningful client-facing activity with disciplined account leadership across team dynamics, financial performance, pursuits, governance, quality and risk.

Every day will not be the same, but you can expect to be a:

  • Relationship connector: experienced in relationship strategy and building to increases account penetration that leads to increased revenue opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Team champion: be a trusted advisor to the Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) and account leadership team; influence and lead cross-functional teams on your account(s); and be a leader and active contributor withing the Client Account Management team
  • Opportunity enabler: Assist with identifying, qualifying, pursuing and closing opportunities, and developing strategic and tactical plans to generate revenue while enabling the appropriate support team to execute
  • Gatekeeper: protect the Deloitte brand by ensuring quality and risk management standards are in place and executed
  • Performance manager: drive client centric sales and operational disciplines with Deloitte business and industry teams while holding a broad level of understanding of the client(s) in the selected portfolio
  • Account connector: develop a network within the Deloitte ecosystem and build a positive experience for practitioners from account onboarding to offboarding
  • Deliver differentiated client experiences: project manage initiatives by using the breadth of the global clients & industries assets (e.g. events, workshops/labs, high profile speakers, etc.)

About the team

You are someone with these required skills, experience and qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of professional services experience in account management, project or program management and business development strategy, including experience in areas such as marketing, sales or pursuit management.
  • Proven experience building trusted-advisor relationships with senior internal and external leaders and helping deepen account penetration and revenue opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success working within an account team framework and influencing cross-functional teams, including Lead Client Service Partners, business and industry leaders, practitioners and business development professionals.
  • Strong executive presence, business acumen, judgment and highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience shaping and executing account strategies, enabling pursuits, coordinating diverse stakeholders and moving work from discussion to decision and action.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience interpreting and managing account performance, pipeline, forecasting, profitability, investments or related reporting.
  • Ability to identify, manage and escalate quality, risk, confidentiality, contractual or brand considerations appropriately.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, CRM platforms and reporting tools to support account management and team execution.

It would be great for you to have some of these nice to have’s as well:

  • In-depth knowledge of the industry in which your account or accounts operate.
  • Direct experience working in industry.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary pursuits, strategic opportunity planning or account market-positioning initiatives.
  • Experience coaching or developing account team members and contributing to a professional community of practice.
  • Experience supporting Large Priority, strategic or complex multinational accounts.
  • Experience with executive relationship mapping, Voice of Client programs, client labs or other distinctive client experiences.
  • Familiarity with Deloitte’s internal capabilities, offerings, experiential assets and global ecosystem.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
