Work You’ll Do
As a Project Delivery Manager and Cloud Application Developer on the project, you will support complex DoD cloud migration and modernization initiatives in the Arlington, VA area. This role represents the highest level of technical expertise in cloud application development within the organization and serves as the primary technical authority for enterprise-scale, mission-critical efforts. The successful candidate will provide technical consulting to senior management and government customers, drive innovation, and ensure delivery aligns with stringent government security requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and strategy for enterprise-scale DoD cloud application modernization and migration programs
- Define and drive adoption of advanced cloud architecture patterns, development standards, and secure governance frameworks
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams and serve as the primary technical interface to government customers and senior stakeholders
- Drive advanced DevSecOps adoption, including automated security testing, compliance validation, and continuous monitoring
- Architect and deliver complex solutions, including integrations with legacy DoD systems and performance engineering (load testing, capacity planning, optimization)
- Manage technical risk and mission outcomes through incident response leadership, continuous process improvement, and talent mentorship/community building

The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated experience delivering mission-critical, enterprise-grade applications using full-stack Java in secure environments
- Proven ability to lead architecture and engineering decisions across complex programs (modernization and migration)
- Experience working in Linux-based development and runtime environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with senior leadership and government customers
- Software Development Process Knowledge: Intermediate
- Application/Software Architecture, Full-Stack Java, Linux Stack, Cloud Architecture Design experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required
- Ability to be on site in Arlington, VA 4 days a week
