Position Summary
Our Global Business Services (GBS) team serves as a trusted advisor and thought partner to CFOs, CAOs and other executive clients focused on captive and outsourced operations. We leverage Deloitte's comprehensive capabilities, assets, and insights to deliver innovative, market-driven solutions. Our mission is to help clients modernize functions which are part of their GBS organization including Finance, HR, Technology, Procurement, and other back office and core business functions, with the goal to enhance financial and operational performance, manage financial and audit risks, drive organizational change, and become strategic business partners within their organizations.

Work you’ll do:
As a GBS Manager, you will lead projects around the strategy, design, and implementation of creative business and technology solutions aimed at driving operational effectiveness, cost efficiencies, and organizational agility. In this role, you will architect and guide strategies and transformation programs that enable growth and value creation by driving innovation into core business operations, standardizing and simplifying the way work gets done, and optimizing service delivery models.
Manager responsibilities include:
- Deliver service excellence by identifying and addressing complex client business issues, serving as a trusted advisor.
- Support the response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and other client opportunities, shaping solution approaches and guiding pursuit teams.
- Lead project teams, ensuring the quality, consistency, and impact of deliverables
- Determine and apply advanced assessment techniques and emerging technologies best suited to each client’s unique needs, providing strategic recommendations.
- Lead and validate analysis, ensuring recommendations are aligned with client objectives and the broader engagement context.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to support the professional growth of junior staff
You will be responsible for executing the day-to-day business model transformations and cultivating enterprise agility to ensure transformations are anchored in, and unlock, value. As a Manager, you will also play a key role in developing client relationships, mentoring teams, and contributing to practice growth.

Our solutions and capabilities support ERP-enabled transformation through the functional design, implementation, and governance of processes, controls, and policies.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- 8+ years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment (with large/boutique consulting firm or industry transformation/strategy group)
- 3+ years of direct people management experience, including leading teams on complex projects
- Hands-on project experience within Shared Services, Outsourcing, Offshoring, or back-office functional optimization
- Demonstrated experience in service delivery model strategy, design, implementation, and optimization for multi-functional or single-function entities
- Proven financial modeling/analysis and business case development skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- In-depth knowledge of ERP functionality and its impact on GBS operations
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with customer-oriented workflow platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce)
- Expertise in digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence, and automation technologies as applied to GBS operations, including awareness of current/emerging AI applications in GBS
- Experience working across multiple GBS pillars (e.g., HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Commercial Operations, Legal)
- Demonstrated ability to create compelling storyboards and presentations for diverse audiences, including executives
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, and written/oral communication skills; demonstrates integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion
- Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environments; navigates multiple priorities seamlessly
- Able to work independently, influence stakeholders, and lead diverse, multi-disciplinary teams
- Outstanding executive presence and advanced leadership capabilities
- Prior experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Certifications in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) are a plus
- Experience in Business Process Outsourcing vendor selection
- Ability to translate technology capabilities into practical process improvements
- Experience in developing proposals
- MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $151,800-$265,600.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
