The Work You’ll Do
As a Manager you will work in a collaborative and diverse team environment providing many opportunities to have an active voice. You will advise clients on their Sourcing & Procurement strategy and work with them to implement next generation solutions.
This role will manage engagement delivery through a variety of activities including process design, data analytics, solution strategy, strategy execution, establishing performance metrics and new policies, and knowledge management. The role requires deep analytical, functional, and complex problem-solving skills with advanced knowledge of sourcing, category management, spend analysis, contracts and negotiations, vendor management, risk management, and category strategy development.
Required Qualifications / Experience
- Prior Big Four consulting experience
- Energy industry experience
- 8+ years Sourcing & Procurement experience
- 5+ years experience with Procurement strategy and process transformation including category management, sourcing, spend analysis, procurement roadmap assessment, experience and/or implementing digital procurement technologies, process mapping, business process review, and reporting and analytics
- Experience with two or more of the following: direct and indirect category management, strategic sourcing, process uplift, contracts / CLM, vendor/supplier management, risk management, spend analysis, category strategy development
- Experience using analytics and metrics to assess procurement performance and identify and quantify improvement opportunities
- Sourcing and Vendor Management workstream lead including maturity assessment, peer benchmarking relative to industry peer groups, identification of leading industry practices (unified store front, LOB facing sourcing model, third party segmentation framework), and development of recommendations and implementation roadmap for maturity enhancement.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration may be available
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields with a concentration in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or analytics
- MBA
- Experience leading a project team in a project client environment
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $159,400 - $265,600.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
