Position Summary
Work you'll do:
The Enterprise Architect, serving in an advisory capacity, provides strategic guidance and expert recommendations to align technology initiatives with business objectives. This role supports the Enterprise Technical Director and portfolio teams by advising on best practices, architectural standards, and technology trends, while ensuring that required architecture artifacts and documentation are developed in accordance with industry and organizational standards.
- Advise on the alignment of technology strategy with business and mission objectives, supporting the Enterprise Technical Director and senior leadership.
- Provide oversight and recommendations for architectural consistency, reuse, and interoperability across the enterprise portfolio.
- Recommend and review architectural standards, principles, and guidelines; advise on the operation of architecture review boards.
- Offer consultative support to solution architects and technical teams in designing scalable, secure, and robust solutions.
- Advise on the evaluation and integration of new technologies, platforms, and vendors within the enterprise ecosystem.
- Identify and communicate potential technology risks, including security, compliance, and technical debt; advise on business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Facilitate communication of architectural decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Serve as an advisor and liaison between business, IT, and operations teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure the creation and maintenance of essential architecture artifacts (e.g., reference architectures, solution blueprints, standards documentation) as a best practice.
- Support the development and delivery of training materials and briefings for system users and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with government, industry, and interagency partners to share best practices and lessons learned.
- Prepare briefings, reports, and documentation for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active Secret security clearance required
- Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week in Arlington, VA.
- 5+ years of information technology experience with a wide range of technical applications
- 3+ years of experience working with government agencies
- 2+ years of experience in project management of technical applications
- CompTIA Security + Certification

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,225 to $155,375.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
