Work You'll Do
The Industry Lead Marketing Specialist will support the Government and Public Services (GPS) industry practice. This role will handle special projects across our business portfolio. The Lead Marketing Specialist will work closely with the GPS marketing team. The goal is to differentiate the Deloitte brand and drive Deloitte’s business priorities. The Lead Marketing Specialist will deliver innovative content marketing strategies and report marketing’s contributions to GPS leadership. This role will report to a GPS Marketing Manager or Senior Manager. Specific areas of focus include:
- Develop and execute content marketing campaigns to promote Insights published by the Deloitte Center for Government Insights. Campaign elements include emails, social media, and internal communications.
- Assist in strategy and execution of industry events—in-person, hybrid, and virtual. Manage sponsorships, projects, event design, setup, invitations, and registration.
- Creation and implementation of full social media plans for campaigns and build awareness of Deloitte’s GPS practice in the market
- Coordinate and manage updates for Deloitte’s external website to help generate page visits and drive engagement of featured content
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of GPS integrated marketing campaigns
- Comfortable drafting various types of content, including ad copy, email marketing, web copy, social copy, and marketing collateral.
- Assist in developing and editing content and collateral material and refreshing website content for consistent messaging and clear voice

The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing professional. The candidate should have a strong desire to grow in industry knowledge and professional services marketing. The candidate must be able to work well with people at all levels of a matrix organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing or Communications preferred)
- 6+ years of post-college marketing and communications career experience
- Experience with marketing tech and innovation to drive and enhance campaign deliverables
- Experience with content marketing techniques; audience segmentation, SEO, personas
- Experienced understanding of marketing and communications basics to drive business goals
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally allowed to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within the government professional services market
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in MS Office Products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
