Work you’ll do

As a Functional Lead in the GPS HST Technology group you will be

responsible for analyzing incidents and defects against approved designs, determining appropriate next steps in collaboration with development teams and clients, and leading requirement and design sessions.

As a lead you will also be responsible for leading the enhancements from estimation to implementation for A&H and Customer Portal functional areas

  1. Requirements and Design Deliverables
  • Ensure timely completion of all requirements and design documentation for new system enhancements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and validate business and technical requirements.
  • Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  1. Incident and Defect Analysis
  • Analyze all reported incidents and defects to confirm they align with approved system designs.
  • Investigate root causes and assess the impact of reported issues on system functionality.
  • Document findings and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
  1. Collaboration and Issue Resolution
  • Collaborate with development teams and clients to determine appropriate next steps for issue resolution.
  • Facilitate discussions to prioritize and address critical incidents and defects.
  • Ensure transparent communication and alignment between technical teams and business users.
  1. Requirement Gathering and Design Facilitation
  • Lead and facilitate requirement gathering and design sessions with clients and project teams.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable design specifications.
  1. Documentation Preparation and Delivery
  • Prepare comprehensive design documentation, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Deliver documentation to stakeholders for review and approval.
  • Maintain version control and ensure documentation is updated as changes occur.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current state public assistance system experience that supports eligibility and benefits determination and case management
  • Experience supporting State client(s) in one or more of the following areas : eligibility determination, benefits calculation, benefits issuance, and/or information management.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 Years of E&E Experience
  • Database Experience: Oracle and PostgreSQL
  • ServiceNow Platform Experience
  • Ability to travel 0 - 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred:

  • Ability to manage small-mid size engagements or work streams and multiple team members with confidence
