Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in New York, New York and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Drive innovative and transformative solutions for clients that address their next generational needs. Create effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives for clients within the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector. Develop value-add insights derived from primary and secondary research in key areas, including drug portfolio strategy, IP valuation, pharmaceutical operating model design, physician and patient segmentation, drug launch and commercialization strategy, market access strategy with payers and providers. Create offers, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables to support project delivery for clients in the pharmaceutical /medical devices / biotechnology industry. Advise key pharmaceutical / medical devices / biotechnology research and development client teams on the appropriate business process, operating model and technology goals for research and development organizations to best support their overall strategy. Analyze industries to synthesize quantitative and qualitative financial market information, key players, and industry trends. Perform financial analysis and identify and recommend opportunities. Analyze financial and budgeting processes to identify cost levers for reduction and optimization. Assist clients in developing a shared services organization and improving back-office efficiencies by eliminating duplication and streamlining processes with a focus on stakeholder management via feasibility studies, global best practices and standards, industry benchmarks, and process scopes.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Leveraging strategic and operational methodologies including Choice-Cascade, Process Architecture, Scenario Design, and Capability Mapping in advising Life Sciences and Healthcare clients on key strategic and operational decisions and transformations;
• Designing enterprise, customer, and operating model strategies and advising clients on how to grow their business and achieve target cost structures, utilizing Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis, Value Chain Analysis (VCA), and Business Model Development;
• Providing industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling to produce analysis and algorithms utilizing advanced analytics and Machine Learning (ML);
• Capturing business requirements, creating high-level design (HLD) documents, and implementing analytical solutions using Agile development methodology, Atlassian Jira, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM);
• Developing integrated operating model strategies by assessing a client’s business challenges, needs, and gaps, diagnosing root problems, and recommending an asset-focused approach using business maps, matrix and organizational models, scorecards, and decision grids;
• Designing and implementing models, solutions, process improvements and enhancements that are flexible and resilient to changing operational strategy;
• Designing and developing reports and dashboards to measure performance metrics of clients, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, and Qlik; and
• Transforming and visualizing data, evaluating business processes, and drawing insights for purposes of developing solutions for client-specific challenges, utilizing process mapping, Miro, and MS Visio.

Annual Salary: $124,950.00-$208,250.00
