Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in San Jose, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology project software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, state and local government, telecom, and retail industries. Manage information technology project test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing, including SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), End-to-End, and Performance Testing. Manage day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers.; Work with information technology project infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.
• 50% Travel required nationally

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, managing activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope, utilizing Atlassian Jira, and Grafana;
• Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams, utilizing Jira, JavaScript, Eclipse, and Neo;
• Driving technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models, utilizing Jira, and Confluence;
• Reviewing System Integration (SIT), User Acceptance testing (UAT), Feature, Epic, Load and Performance testing for qTest, and Neo solutions;
• Guiding test scripts, plans and cases, logging defects, and generating test execution reports utilizing Jira, qTest, Microsoft (MS) Teams, and Eclipse;
• Creating and developing test case reports and documenting use and test cases for SIT, UAT, Feature, Epic, Load, and Performance testing with test scenarios;
• Performing testing across custom developed solutions, including qTest, Eclipse, JavaScript, and Application Programming Interface (API) based solutions and large-scale package implementations, utilizing JavaScript, GitHub, and NeoLoad; and
• Organizing with teams, including external vendors across different types of testing, utilizing Jira, MS Teams, and GitHub

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Annual Salary: $179,171.00 - $241,000.00.
