Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Chicago, Illinois and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Drive software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs, utilizing SAP products. Synthesize overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant SAP tools and techniques to meet specific requirements, including business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Drive the design, configuration, test, and support of SAP business modules to develop technical objects, including module and reports. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.
  • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing Waterfall & Agile methodologies to drive software development and implementation services of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SAP ERP Central Component (ECC), NetWeaver, and SAP Greenfield and Brownfield implementation approaches;
  • Driving various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for SAP implementation, which include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues, using SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), Jira and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM);
  • Building, configuring, and monitoring interfaces to integrate SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems with 3rd party systems;
  • Driving the creation of technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Visio, MS Word and Lucidchart;
  • Developing Technical Design Documents (TDD) from Functional Design Documents (FDD) for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF) objects utilizing MS Word, MS Excel and MS Visio;
  • Building and developing software integration production and developing software modules using SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), SAP Graphical User Interface (GUI), and Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE); and
  • Driving the design of SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC), SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO), SAP Materials Management (MM), and SAP Production Planning (PP) modules for integration and to work with offshore development teams to develop solutions.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;

Annual Salary: $113,325.00-$188,875.00
