Work you’ll do
We are looking to have someone join the Deloitte team as essential core support to help Interpret business needs and project requirements as it pertains to policy, governance and data management. Responsibilities will include working with Privacy and Civil Rights / Civil Liberties offices to ensure compliance with oversight responsibilities. You will also analyze and select appropriate responses to data and information sharing challenges, work with key business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver optimal data governance and policy solutions for specific use cases. This candidate will perform non-technical analyses on project issues and help to ensure technical implementations follow data management expectations. This candidate will create and manage product roadmaps that reflect both innovation and growth strategies, develop and maintain artifacts, and coordinate and document dataflows, capabilities, etc.

Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of 4 years experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy, Political Science or International Relations, or related degree program from an Accredited University/School/College with 2+ years demonstrated policy and requirements management experience.
- Solid understanding of the policy development, analytical tradecraft, and change management process.
- Experience working with technical POCs to translate operations concept, system and product designs, and requirements into developing policy documents.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and coordinating policy requirements across various stakeholders.
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Ability to travel 60%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), and the intel cycle.
- Experience in policy development and experience providing technical direction and clarification of requirements to data science, data analysis, data engineering, integration and test teams in a predominantly Agile environment.
- Experience working with systems engineering functions including operations concept development, system and product design, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition and control.
- Knowledge of and experience working in requirements management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, Agile Manager, etc.).
- Policy and Governance experience on a large government software or data analytic development contract.
- Proficient organization and communication skills.
- Comfortable with daily client engagement.
