The GPS Digital Customer offering helps public sector and higher education clients transform their businesses and customer interactions through innovative digital experiences. We work with our clients to create, design and deploy digital products that increase adoption and drive measurable results.

Work you’ll do

  • Will be the Development/Tech Lead for a Scrum team
  • Hands-on key role where you will be expected to contribute to highly complex Salesforce tickets requiring both Apex and front-end LWC knowledge
  • Responsible for mentoring junior members of the development team.
  • As a member of the scrum team you will participate in grooming, estimating, solutioning, and building user stories in Salesforce. User stories may require Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, OOTB Components, Flow, Process Builder etc. to successfully implement.
  • In this role you need to work with the senior architect to solution user stories and technical enablers, assign user story points based on LOE, manage the quality of your team’s code/ implementation

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a Senior Salesforce Developer or Lead role on one or more Salesforce Implementation
  • Will be the Development/Tech Lead for a Scrum team.
  • Will be a mentor to junior developers
  • Required to do code reviews and return code that does not meet the standards of our team
  • Must be interested in training and growing others
  • Must be excellent with client communication and IT leaders
  • Experience practicing Agile Development Methodologies
  • Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Salesforce Certified (Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II or Advanced Developer preferred)
  • Client facing experience working with business and IT client stakeholders in architectural / technical design and gain acceptance from cross functional client and vendor teams
  • Strong technology leadership, presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution
