Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Morristown, New Jersey and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud; may perform design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Operating Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Design and develop data governance standards, roles, and responsibilities. Design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion, mapping and cleansing workshops to support the clients’ conversion to Cloud. Convert legacy data according to current system’s data structure using data warehouse concepts; design conversion strategies and mapping rules between legacy data and the current system database to facilitate data conversion.
• 50% Travel required nationally.
• Telecommuting permitted.
• Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:

• Supporting implementations of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and leveraging infrastructure provisioning, SWOT and GAP Analysis, and change management methodologies;
• Researching user reported issues utilizing problem solving diagrams, data flowcharts and Service Now dashboards, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams;
• Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development;
• Tracking application defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details utilizing tools including JIRA, Confluence, Conference Room Pilot (CRP), System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methods;
• Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery lifecycle for the design, development, and implementation of Cloud Platform using UML diagrams including use case and activity diagram model to satisfy the as-is and to-be solution architecture for enterprise-level clients;
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze and translate client requirements into project designs, utilizing MS Word, Excel, Logical, Infrastructure and Use Case Diagram for developing On-Premise and Cloud based applications to deliver solutions;
• Using Cloud Platform knowledge and organized Joint Application Development (JAD) and Joint Application Requirements Capturing (JAR) sessions, User Stories and Agile SDLC techniques to design, develop and implement cloud solutions; and
• Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders using Microsoft Office Suite and customized reports highlighting pending issues and roadblocks observed.
