Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Austin, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology projects, including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Work with technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Coordinate and deliver components of engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.
• 50% Travel required nationally.
• Telecommuting permitted.
• Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.
Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Utilizing Microsoft Project, Jira, JAMA, MS Team, and Asana to provide software advisory and implementation services for clients in the Government and Public Services and Retail industries;
• Working on all phases of Waterfall and Iterative Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid Agile, Scrum, Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) project delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for designing, developing, testing, and implementing custom off-the-shelf Integrated Eligibility and Enrollment Solutions for enterprise-level clients in Government and Public Sector;
• Working on teams focused on design, implementation, testing, and training of engagements using Eclipse Juno and Neon, IBM Rational Software Architect, WebSphere Application Server, Oracle SQL Developer, Git, SOAP UI, Jenkins, and AWS Code Deploy;
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using Microsoft Project, Jira, JAMA, MS Team, Zoom, Asana, Visio, and Balsamiq wireframes;
• Reviewing codes and providing recommendations for solution implementation, utilizing Sonar Cube, Junit, JArchitect and FindBugs;
• Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and managing the scope using change management processes, including Accelerating Implementation Methodology (AIM), Prosci Change Management Methodology (ADKAR), AGS Change Management method, and Lewin’s Change Management model methodologies;
• Defining performance measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on stakeholders’ discussions, data, and trend analysis using Velocity, Cycle Time, Sprint burndown, Release burndown, Code Coverage, Tableau, SimpleKPI, and Splunk; and
• Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders utilizing Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Jira, and JAMA.

Other
Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
