Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Specialist in Tampa, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Develop Cloud-based software and technology solutions, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Recommend, design, and implement Cloud Computing, IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), Managed Cloud, Server Virtualization, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solutions. Participate in various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Help facilitate continuous business improvement by planning and monitoring solution enhancements, upgrades, support packs, and scheduled functional releases. Help coordinate and manage test strategies, user behavior analysis, metrics and reporting.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Performing data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, interface development, and systems development utilizing Salesforce, including Data Loader, Duplicate Rules, and Matching Rules;
  • Researching user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams;
  • Creating technical, functional, and automated specifications, using Salesforce, including Page Layouts, Validation Rules, Lightning Flow, Approval Process, Profiles, Permissions Sets, and Sharing Rules;
  • Developing and assisting with deployment to environments, including development, testing, and production, using Visual Studio Code, Lightning Design Studio, Salesforce Developer console, GitHub, Bitbucket, and Changesets;
  • Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery life cycle for the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce Cloud Platform;
  • Using Cloud Platform knowledge of Salesforce for the design and development of cloud solutions;
  • Developing multi-tier architecture applications using Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud; and
  • Working with a team of developers to both produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process, utilizing Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura components, and Apex for development.
