Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Morristown, New Jersey and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Provide software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Help define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Research user reported issues with software systems, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analyses and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Help manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond, helping to link their IT programs to organizational goals. Drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytical expertise, and providing offerings for continuous insights and improvements.
•50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
• Tracking implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details utilizing Atlassian Jira, Waterfall, and Agile Scrum;
• Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models by leveraging Microsoft (MS) Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, Software AG ARIS, Atlassian Jira, and InVision;
• Designing, developing, testing, and implementing web-based application solutions across all phases of Agile Scrum, Waterfall, and LEAN Six Sigma project life cycle;
• Gathering functional and technical requirements, and analyzing and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions to meet clients’ needs by employing Atlassian Jira, Brainstorming, Prototyping, Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, Stakeholder Interviews, Documentation Analysis, and Workshops;
• Designing data from relational databases including MYSQL and SQL Developer using Rational Database Management System (RDBMS), SQL, and PL/SQL;
• Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables and statuses to ensure timely project delivery, and communicating updates to stakeholders through use of Atlassian Jira, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint;
• Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state and systems processes and environments using MS Visio, Software AG ARIS, SWOT Analysis, and GAP Analysis; and
• Performing User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing utilizing HP ALM Quality Control (QC), to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions.
