The Team

Strategy

Our Strategy practice brings together key capabilities that will allow us to architect integrated programs that transform our clients’ businesses, including Corporate & Business Unit Strategy, Technology Strategy & Insights, Enterprise Model Design, Enterprise Cloud Strategy and Business Transformation.

Strategy professionals will serve as trusted advisors to our clients, collaborating with them to make clear data-driven choices about where to play and how to win, to drive growth and enterprise value.

Strategy will help our clients:

  • Identify strategies for growth and value creation.
  • Develop the appropriate business models, operating models, and capabilities to support their strategic vision.

Maximize technology investments and leverage technology and Cloud trends to architect future business strategies.

The Strategy Research Analyst is responsible for conducting detailed research and analysis and contributing to report development to inform strategic decision-making processes. This role will play a critical part in identifying market trends, emerging technologies, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities to support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.

Must live within a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Deloitte delivery office locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA.

Work you’ll do:

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. Analyze competitor strategies and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
  • Data Interpretation: Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to generate insightful reports. Present complex data in an easy-to-understand format for various stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with the strategy team to develop actionable strategies based on research findings. Assist in the implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Reporting: strong writing skills to develop comprehensive reports detailing research findings, analysis, and recommendations. Present these to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with multiple teams (such as sales, marketing, and product development) to ensure strategic alignment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience performing relevant research and presenting final analysis. Strong written and analytical skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • 2+ years’ experience in various research tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, SurveyMonkey, or Qualtrics.
  • 1+ years’ experience in writing articles, published papers, and/or technical writing
  • Expert user in all Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
  • Expectation to co-locate in your designated delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.
  • Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain the required level of security clearance for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background or coursework in Business, Economics, Social Science, Journalism, Area Studies, Liberal Arts or Humanities
  • Master’s degree
  • Consulting experience
