Role Description

US Global supports the US Firms’ objectives, relationships, and investments around the globe. Working with US leadership, we represent US interests and shape how we lead, influence, and benefit from the Global strategy. Our programs, initiatives, and people execute against US global choices to elevate our ability to serve clients globally while creating long term value for PPMDs, driving the globalization of the US Firms and the network, and protecting and enhancing our global brand.

US Global Client Advocacy is a key program within US Global that focuses on connecting the dots across the US Firm and Global in support of bringing the best of Deloitte to serve our most important global clients, and ensuring that US account teams are fully supported. We are seeking a high-performing manager to help:

  • Collaborate across the network – work with member firms to build a borderless practice and achieve shared progress through the Corridor Program
  • Connect US account teams to global programs – across US CMG, US Businesses, and the Global network – reaching across boundaries to assist leaders in navigating our firm to deliver seamless service to our global clients
  • Elevate global US client needs – to quickly get to the right answers, aligned with our global objectives
  • Champion, recognize, and incentivize global behaviors – communicating, expanding, and where needed, developing programs that tie our global aspirations to our business objectives and performance management
  • Foster a community of US PPMD advocates – to drive a global mindset and to provide direct forums for feedback from the US leaders that are serving our clients globally

Description of Responsibilities

Help shape, define, and implement Global Client Advocacy & Corridor’s initiatives, including:

  • Engage with Corridor Teams to streamline processes and reporting from the center
    • Support each Corridor’s client list development/refresh process
    • Support account teams to achieve Corridor specific account goals, resolve client issues, and accelerate client successes/wins
    • Manage the periodic reporting process, including developing a summary/consolidated view of total Corridor impact
    • Help plan engaging Corridor Leadership forums to share best practices
  • Enhance PPMD engagement related to global topics, including global client service through direct engagement with LCSPs to inform areas of focus
    • Coordinate quarterly engagement with an LCSP cohort and develop actions in response to input
    • Identify and synthesize critical insights
    • Track and report the impact of the US Firm’s global initiatives
  • Provide investment guidance and coordination around global account needs, working in collaboration with US Client & Market Growth (CMG)
    • Maintain a central investment playbook and support account teams to facilitate and navigate investment alternatives to appropriately fund opportunities/needs
  • Develop reporting for senior US Firm leaders, including Executive Committee and US Board
    • Work with team to develop analysis of inbound and outbound US revenue, cross-border wins/pursuits, and impact & indicators
  • Support the US Global Client Relationship Summits
    • Help client teams in achieving client account goals developed during Summits
    • If applicable, serve as a facilitator for Global Client Relationship Summits
  • Support collaboration activities with POCs from Client & Market Growth
  • Other activities related to supporting the US Firm’s ability to serve clients globally

Required Skill Set

  • Strong business-writing and visual communication skills
  • High quality content creation abilities for a very senior audience
  • Proactive mindset to work independently and lead within a team
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to work virtually with colleagues around the globe; comfortable working with individuals without face-to-face contact; comfortable with matrixed organization with multiple reporting lines
  • Strong organizational skills including project management, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment of complexity, ambiguity, and continual change/evolution
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Facilitation skills preferred, but not required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 to $181,900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
