The Team Member (TM) will perform work at a Dell Federal Department of Defense (DoD) Customer location. Working at the direction of DoD customer, the TM will provide technical support, coordinate tasks and schedule for system integration work.
What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Technical Lead/Consultant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the cybersecurity posture of systems used in Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities. The ISSO focuses on daily cybersecurity operations, ensuring that systems are operated, maintained, and secured in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will leverage in-depth industry knowledge of the business environment and technical solutions to provide technical and consultative guidance and help the customer increase their operational efficiencies. You will provide technical and consultative leadership for Consulting technical solutions opportunities on a range of complex engagements, focused on an industry or service offering. Requires an in-depth understanding of an organization’s business, industry requirements and systems.
You will:
· Lead RMF and accreditation support by preparing and maintaining cybersecurity artifacts (SSPs, SCIPs, POA&Ms), tracking compliance, sustaining ATO requirements, and ensuring continuous monitoring across test environments
· Implement secure system configurations by applying DISA STIGs and security baselines, validating control implementation, managing patching and updates, and ensuring all test systems remain in an approved and hardened state
· Manage cybersecurity operations including vulnerability scanning and remediation (ACAS/Nessus), audit log review, incident reporting and response, user account/access control, and monitoring for unauthorized activity or system misuse
· Support test event security by validating system readiness, monitoring systems during T&E for compliance and incident activity, reinforcing cybersecurity training and awareness, and coordinating with ISSMs, GSSOs, administrators, and external cybersecurity stakeholders
· Maintain accurate, audit-ready cybersecurity documentation (configurations, patch status, access logs, training records), communicate security status to stakeholders, and provide mentorship to junior team members while working independently with periodic review

Essential Requirements:
· US Citizen
· Possess active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Security Clearance and an active CompTIA Security+ certification
· Provide end‑to‑end test systems engineering including measurement design, data acquisition system design, real‑time and post‑test data processing operations, telemetry vehicle/equipment design, and engineering laboratory support and training
· Serve as Lead Engineer / Project Manager, applying systems integration, planning, and coordination across diverse functional disciplines, multi‑site test environments, and external vendors
· Develop and maintain operational and security frameworks, including Concepts of Operations for engineers and technicians and U.S. Government–approved System Security Plans for multi‑level data processing systems
Desirable Requirements:
· Typically requires 8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
· Strong trouble-shooting skills and adept verbal and written skills and demonstrated ability to document processes for the customer
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $141,100 – $182,600.
