AI Agent Benchmarking Co-Op

As an AI Agent Benchmarking Co-op, you will be responsible for conducting research and developing methodologies to evaluate the performance of AI agents. You will work with data science and AI research teams on benchmarking frameworks that assess agent efficiency, efficacy, and robustness across diverse tasks and environments.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and implement benchmarking strategies for evaluating AI agents.
  • Analyze agent performance using metrics such as task success rate, intermediate reasoning and planning steps, and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design experiments and interpret results.
  • Contribute to internal research publications and presentations.
  • Support the development of scalable benchmarking tools and datasets.

Essential Requirements

Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in AI agent architectures, reinforcement learning, or multi-agent systems.
  • Experience with Python and ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, MLflow, Hugging Face).
  • Familiarity with experimental design and statistical analysis.
  • Ability to work onsite in Hopkinton, MA for the duration of the co-op.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with Unix-based GPU-enabled servers, Docker, and system design methodologies.
  • Knowledge of research methodologies and experimental design.

Compensation

  • Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This role offers an hourly rate of $39.02/hr-$42.54/hr
