What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:

• Own critical functional areas and independently resolve real-time customer issues across teams using advanced debugging techniques and deep code analysis.
• Perform detailed root-cause analysis of high-severity issues, including full-scale customer recreations, driving permanent fixes and improving tools/processes to reduce customer impact.
• Collaborate with development teams on new feature development, embedding serviceability and debuggability to ensure on-time, high-quality releases.
• Design, code, test, and document enhancements to existing and new PMAX features, and remain accountable for QA validation, triage, and test cycle sign-off.
• Support SW QE with timely issue resolution while mentoring and coaching junior engineers, driving execution excellence and team results

Essential Requirements

• 13+ years of experience in programming, debugging, and troubleshooting complex software systems, with strong expertise in C/C++ and large-scale codebases
• Solid foundation in Operating Systems, Data Structures, and System Programming, with hands-on experience in low-level and performance-critical environments.
• Proven experience working on real-time embedded systems, distributed systems, and fault-tolerant architectures, including end-to-end system understanding.
• Strong capability in diagnosing and resolving complex issues across hardware, firmware, and system software integration layers.
• Self-driven problem solver with excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, capable of driving technical improvements and change.

Desirable Requirements
•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
•Experience with vRealize Orchestrator, vRealize Automation, Enterprise Storage, Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)
