What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:

• Demonstrated proficiency in Linux OS internals, firmware, BIOS, device drivers, embedded software, system and network administration, databases, and development tools/utilities.

• Ability to create, design, and review architectural collateral across OS, firmware, and driver domains. Skilled in prototyping solutions to validate feasibility and guide scalable, flexible system designs.

• Capable of gathering business requirements and driving product definition and prioritization. Influences both hardware and software directions for features that extend beyond the OS layer.

• Proven track record of generating Intellectual Property to protect technical innovations and contribute to the organization’s competitive edge.

• Experienced in balancing short-term vs. long-term priorities and strategic vs. tactical needs. Skilled in optimizing trade-offs across cost, performance, quality, and schedule—especially in multi-project environments involving diverse OS platforms, tools, and hardware

Essential Requirements

• 15+ years of software development experience

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Agility to adapt to technologies and processes quickly

• Familiar with Operating System on x86 and ARM/SoC architect and driver requirement

• Strong development/programming experience in Python/Ansible/ Kubernetes or different programming languages

Desirable Requirements
•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
•Experience with Linux kernel and upstreaming process, Automation and AI ideation and Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)
