What you’ll achieve
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical “Celonis Model Builder / Analyst” to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the data models within the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform to identify process inefficiencies, drive data-driven decision-making, and support digital transformation initiatives across the organization
You will:
- Design and build data models within Celonis, configuring data extractions, and developing custom transformations for activities within business processes.
- Understand business processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement custom KPIs to analyze and monitor process performance within the Celonis platform. Use Celonis tools to visualize and analyze processes, identify root causes of deviations, and propose solutions.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL and PQL (Process Query Language) queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Celonis, supporting advanced analytics and process optimization.
- Work closely with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business users to understand requirements, develop solutions, and ensure high-quality data pipelines and scalable solutions.
- Document technical procedures and processes within the Celonis platform to ensure ongoing familiarity and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Essential Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or process mining.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Celonis products, including data model creation, SQL/PQL transformation, action flows, and other functionalities. Experience in data analysis and process mining with strong understanding of process mining tools.
- Data Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems. Experience handling large datasets and working knowledge of data models and data structures.
- Programming Skills: Strong experience in programming, preferably Python and SQL/PQL. Basic knowledge of Python scripting, including libraries.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to codify processes into step-by-step linear commands.
Desirable Requirements
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
- Comfortable working in an Agile or iterative project environment additionally Celonis certifications (e.g., Analyst, Developer, or Business Value Architect
