What you’ll achieve
As a Network Sales Specialist, you will proactively identify and help solve customer business needs by providing subject matter expertise (around Dell’s Open Networking approach) and creating agile, responsive and digital age networking solutions using Dell’s products and services.
- Drive our DC & Edge oriented Network sales strategy as a Specialist team.
- Work collaboratively with the Server SCs/AEs to develop new accounts and/or expands existing accounts to sell Dell networking solutions.
- Achieve targeted and forecasted sales goals for the Networking business in the segment/regions of responsibility
- Conduct business planning and reporting (sales forecast/commit and pipeline development)
- Lead sales process hygiene and proactively position our software defined Open networking solutions, specially Dell Enterprise SONiC solutions for creating new network opportunities.
- Collaborate and effectively engage with 3rd party network supplementary solutions which adds a layer of punch onto our networking solutions.
- Maintain effective customer relationships with key decision makers/influencers to understand the customer's requirements, match them with the organization's solutions, and close deals.
- Collaborate with pre-sales resources to ensure that designed networking solution matches customer project requirements.
- Good knowledge of Data Center Technologies around Server/Storage/Networking.
- Consistent track record of high achievement of DC solution sales/network solution sales (would be a big plus) into Enterprise, Public Sector, Cloud Service Provider, Telco Accounts
- Understanding of Networking technologies (Switching, SDN/SDWAN and Open Networking).
- Understanding of India networking market/solutions/competition.
- Ability to assesses potential networking sales opportunities and develop value propositions
- Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive level relationships with customers and business partners
- 15+ years of related sales experience in a relationship selling role with good customer addressing skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Networking.
- General knowledge of Dell EMC and Dell EMC Partner Networking solutions
- Competitive product knowledge will be a big differentiator.
- Ability to drive new technologies growth/insertions into customers DC.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
