Scope of PositionDataKinetics is looking for a Finance Director, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, who will be the second in command of the Finance, General and Administrative Department. This role will be instrumental in scaling continuous growth and sound financial processes of the organization, including involvement with spin-off organizations such as omNovos. We offer a competitive compensation plan including creative benefits, an outstanding work environment, community involvement and growth potential.Functional Responsibilities- Improve and implement financial systems and productivity tools to optimize global expansion.- Create budgets, forecasts, cash flow statements and other forward-looking analyses with department heads.- Prepare and present financial reports, management discussion and analysis.- Perform general ledger and sub-ledger reviews; weekly financial reviews (payroll, check runs, AR status, etc.).- Manage audit processes (financial, government and others); defend interests with research and benchmarking.- Engage with government agencies to leverage expansion opportunities.- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial controls.- Assist the CFO with Treasury and Business Development (business modeling, banking, risk, governance, board prep, due diligence, M&A).- Assist the CFO with customer and vendor negotiations.- Present to the executive team; manage stakeholder expectations.- Uphold accounting integrity; explain logic to non-financial audiences.- Desire to grow under the current CFO and continuously progress.Preferred Education, Experience & Skills- CPA; Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field.- Minimum 2 years of audit firm experience.- Advanced ERP/SaaS systems skills; Excel wizardry.- Outstanding English communication skills; ability to communicate using charts/graphs.- Experience with projects, audits, customers, banks, vendors, government.- Experience with payroll, AP, AR.- Ability to deliver on tight deadlines; occasional work outside standard hours.- Ability to travel at least one week per quarter.To apply: Send resume and cover letter to rmccoy@dkl.com
