Job Description:
ServiceNow ITOM Senior Staff
Crowe is seeking a highly technical ServiceNow ITOM Senior Staff professional to join our growing ServiceNow practice in a client-facing consulting role. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration, with a strong focus on ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
You will work as part of a collaborative delivery team to architect and implement scalable ServiceNow ITOM solutions that drive measurable value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced configuration and scripting within ServiceNow ITOM, including:
Discovery patterns, probes, and sensors
MID Server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Event Management rule creation and alert correlation
Service Mapping design and deployment
Develop and maintain integrations with external systems (e.g., monitoring tools, CMDB feeders).
Translate technical requirements and architectural designs into scalable, supportable implementations.
Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and engagement leads to ensure quality delivery.
Configure and optimize Service Operations Workspace, CMDB Workspace, and Discovery Admin Workspace.
Write and maintain clear, reusable technical documentation and development standards.
Support system testing, UAT, deployment, and performance optimization.
Participate in technical design sessions and peer code reviews.
Engage with clients during technical workshops, validation sessions, and post-go-live support.
Lead client discussions around ITOM best practices and implementation strategies.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT Service Delivery and how ITOM capabilities enhance ITSM and core platform functions.
Configure Service Graph Connectors and other ITOM-related integrations.
Articulate infrastructure concepts across hosted, on-prem, and hybrid environments, including upstream and downstream relationships.
Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience.
2+ years of direct hands-on ServiceNow ITOM experience.
Proven experience implementing and configuring Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
Ability to independently deliver technical solutions with minimal supervision.
Strong documentation and communication skills, especially in explaining complex technical logic.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in distributed teams.
Willingness to travel up to 30% for client engagements.
Desired Skills
Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting methods.
Deep understanding of CMDB architecture, discovery patterns, and infrastructure modeling.
Experience integrating with third-party tools such Microsoft Intune, DataDog, NinjaOne, Rapid7, etc.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills involving MID Servers, connectivity, and performance tuning.
Certifications (Preferred)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Discovery, Service Mapping, or Event Management
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
