Communications Manager – India
Job Overview
The Communications Manager – India is an integral part of the communications team, serving in a strategic role across the communications function. Responsibilities include executing against the enterprise and business unit communications strategies for both internal and external stakeholders. This role will help develop and distribute content aligned to the India and broader global Crowe strategy, which includes writing stories for the Crowe intranet, executive messaging, social media content, and other communiques. Additional responsibilities include serving as the primary communications liaison to the India Chief Operations Officer and other leaders in India , along with research, event support and project management.
Responsibilities
Corporate Communications
- Support communications leaders and help drive best-in-class internal and external communications materials ensuring that all drive a holistic and integrated Crowe story, grounded in our purpose and values.
- Help develop communications programs to drive employee engagement and articulate strategy, strategic initiatives, change management initiatives and cultural programs.
- Support an organization structure and culture that optimizes and sustains high levels of financial performance, employee performance and corporate responsibility.
Public and Media Relations
- Help execute communications and PR strategies, including coordination and timing of external communications.
- Help develop and execute external media relations and reputation management programs to increase profile of Crowe in the market.
- Help build and foster relationships with journalists to create opportunities to profile Crowe positively in the market
Additional BU Responsibilities
- Strategic Communications - Partner with India COO office to develop high‑impact communication strategies that support governance, talent development, people experience and brand initiatives in India.
- Internal Communications - Lead India content strategy, ensuring relevance, timeliness and alignment with Crowe US priorities. Develop communication toolkits for India BU leaders to ensure consistent and effective delivery of messages across teams.
- Change & Organizational Communications - Craft and execute communication plans related to organizational changes, governance enhancements, policy updates, performance frameworks, and real estate evolution.
- Support leadership in cascading key messages with clarity and cultural sensitivity.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement - Serve as trusted advisor to India leaders on communication best practices, messaging, positioning and executive visibility.
- Partner with US communications teams to ensure consistency and alignment across geographies.
Brand & People Experience - Support India EVP rollout, recognition programs, and people experience initiatives through compelling storytelling and campaign management.
- Ensure India branding is consistently represented across internal and external channels.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of corporate communications or PR agency experience, professional services preferred.
- Exceptional writing and project management skills required.
- Must work well autonomously as well as within a group.
- Experience writing all types of content for various audiences including talking points, communications timelines, news releases, media pitches, social media posts, internal communications, etc., is required.
- Direct experience of developing and executing communication plans and working directly with business leaders.
- Demonstrated experience working with clients to help set communications strategy and direction, with leadership traits and knowledge of reputational management.
- Confident performing multiple ongoing projects, prioritizing tasks and demonstrating strong organization skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Experience with media relations software including Cision, PR Newswire, etc. is preferred.
- Experience working with social media/content creation tools (Sprout Social, Adobe, Camtasia, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience working with digital tools (SharePoint, etc.,) is preferred.
