Job Description:

Crowe seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Learning Design Associate to support the development and delivery of innovative, high-quality learning solutions. This associate-level role is ideal for an early-career learning professional who is building foundational skills in instructional design, project coordination, and learning technology while contributing to impactful learning programs across the firm.

The Learning Design Associate works closely with the Learning Design Lead, senior team members, and internal partners to support learning initiatives from planning through delivery. This role emphasizes organization, quality, collaboration, and continuous learning, while providing hands-on exposure to instructional practices and modern learning technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination and Quality Support

  • Support the coordination of learning projects by assisting with timelines, task tracking, documentation, and follow-ups across multiple initiatives.

  • Take ownership of assigned work and apply developing skills and knowledge to complete tasks aligned to project expectations and definitions of done.

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project plans and learning documentation.

  • Conduct quality reviews and testing of learning materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for deployment.

  • Apply strong attention to detail to support high standards in course development and delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

  • Collaborate with learning team members and design resources to support the translation of learning needs into project deliverables.

  • Proactively communicate project status, deadlines, and support needs with the team.

  • Demonstrate effective and appropriate written and verbal US business communication skills in a professional services environment.

  • Ask questions, seek feedback, and incorporate guidance to continuously improve work quality and effectiveness.

Instructional Design Support and Enablement

  • Support the application of instructional design principles and adult learning theory under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Assist with course testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.

  • Contribute to course maintenance and process documentation efforts.

  • Compile information and synthesize data from source materials such as firm guidance, prior training content, and compliance documentation.

Technology and Learning Innovation

  • Gain fluency in the tools and technologies required to perform the role, including LMS platform, ChatGPT and digital learning development tools.

  • Support the use of technology-enhanced learning components across different delivery modes.

  • Seek opportunities to build technical and soft skills related to learning design, coordination, and project support.

Professional Growth and Firm Engagement

  • Perform high-quality work on projects within agreed-upon timelines while balancing multiple priorities.

  • Actively engage with a Career Coach to support performance development and career growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Instructional Systems Design, Adult Education, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Foundational understanding of instructional design and adult learning theory.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products and ChatGPT

  • Experience or exposure to LMS platforms and digital learning tools is preferred.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills appropriate for a professional business environment.

  • A growth mindset with a willingness to learn, seek feedback, and develop new capabilities.
