Job Description:

Overview:
The Technology Director role works across teams in a leadership capacity in delivery of multiple complex engineering needs. This proven leader aligns delivery in accordance with the business outcomes. This is a servant leader role producing through multiple teams. Serves as a bridge to ensure alignment to objectives and enabling the team to deliver predictably.

Key Responsibilities:
India Technology Leadership
o Provide overall leadership and direction for all Technology teams in India across multiple service lines and capabilities
o Establish a unified vision, operating model, and culture aligned with Crowe’s global Technology strategy to meet changing business objectives over time
o Act as the senior point of accountability for Technology delivery, quality, and performance in India
o Support India COO, US Leadership and Steering Committee to execute transformation initiatives and strategic growth plans
o Identify and surface Technology gaps and/or opportunities to support local teams through Technology and Technology-enabled transformation

Delivery Excellence & Client Impact
o Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across Technology engagements supporting global clients
o Oversee complex, multi-workstream programs and provide executive-level escalation support when needed
o Establish delivery standards, governance models, and performance metrics across India-based teams in coordination with US Leadership and extend standards where necessary
o Partner with global engagement leaders to ensure seamless collaboration across regions
o Promotes a culture of continuous improvement with emphasis on predictable delivery

Talent & Capability Development
o Build, scale, and retain a high-performing Technology workforce in India
o Lead recruiting strategy for Technology roles, including leadership and specialized skill sets
o Mentor and develop senior Technology leaders and managers to support outcomes and increasing scale
o Establish performance management, career progression, and learning & development frameworks in coordination with US Leadership and extend programs where necessary
o Drive succession planning and leadership development opportunities

Operational & Financial Management
o Own Technology operational performance in India, including utilization, margin, and capacity planning
o Optimize delivery models to balance quality, speed, and cost efficiency
o Collaborate with BU India leaders of Tax, Audit, Advisory, Technology, Studio, and Enabling areas Finance, Talent and other operations leaders on overall Crowe US-India growth plans, and operational excellence in forecasting, budgeting, and workforce planning
o Implement scalable processes and tools to support growth and operational maturity

Strategy & Growth Enablement
o Support US and Global go-to-market initiatives by providing scalable delivery capabilities
o Partner with US Leadership and industry leaders to expand Technology service offerings and capabilities aligned to business objectives
o Drive innovation and transformation within Technology team to position Crowe US-India as a global delivery hub. Contribute to internal innovation, accelerators, and create a culture of creativity and Innovation in teams
o Represent India Technology leadership in global forums and planning initiatives

• Technical Understanding & Prioritization – Is a technical and prioritization leader across a set of related team's domains, consistently pushing boundaries and exploring gaps in understanding.
• Security – Consistently promotes a "security by design" mindset within the team, leading by example.
• Software Architecture – Regularly works across teams to build a culture for iterative, autonomous development and future scaling.
• Business Knowledge – Expert in US and Global Emerging Technology Industry, assessing clients and customer needs for the product and tailoring solutions. Deeply involved in business strategy. Regularly advocates BUs and business partners for process and Operational excellence.
• Stakeholder Management – A good communicator and Leader collaborating with US and India Leadership to drive firm priorities and strategies well. Maintains good relationships with all key stakeholders even when challenging.
• Growth Mindset - Uses curiosity to break down silos and challenge assumptions across teams. Has an unthreatening attitude and genuine interest in new ideas. Encourages curiosity in your own team, with clear benefits to the quality of work.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Systems or engineering fields, or equivalent experience.
• 16+ years of relevant experience.
• 16+ years of experience around developing, configuring, implementing, and supporting diverse enterprise applications utilizing a n-tier architecture, and a Microsoft technology stack.
• 10+ years of experience around custom solution development and ongoing delivery.
• 10+ years of experience around applications involving data storage and data residency and compliance.
• 5+ years of experience with agile-based delivery.
• 3+ years of experience around building SaaS solutions using Azure services such as Service Bus, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, or other cloud technology.
• Experience with multiple geographies and international delivery team members.
• 1 or more technology certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a Big 4 or large global consulting firm
• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform development
• Exposure to Data Engineering / BI Development teams
• Exposure to IT Operations / Support teams
• Exposure to technology-enabled consulting, digital transformation, or AI-enabled services
• Experience supporting North America or global client portfolios from India
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
