Job Description:
Crowe Horwath IT Services LLP ("Crowe") is seeking a candidate to support and assist the Compliance and Business Transformation departments within the US-based parent of Crowe. The candidate would be expected to work on policy governance support and risk transformation-related activities leveraging ServiceNow. The main role of the candidate would be to provide technical support for governance, risk and compliance-related activities including policy governance-related matters. The individual would also operate as a ServiceNow process guide. Candidate will report to a compliance leader located in the United States of America. Candidate’s duties and responsibilities may expand based on their understanding of Crowe’s business and the ability to manage business risk.
Role and Responsibilities for the job:
Policy Exceptions Process Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of the policy exceptions process, including reviewing and tracking exception requests, working with policy owners with policy exception-related questions and maintaining process metrics.
Coordinate with other internal stakeholders to create proper documentation of issues and approvals.
Analyze trends in exceptions, identify potential future areas of risk and propose improvement solutions.
Assistant ServiceNow Systems Administration
Assist in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting ServiceNow modules related to policy management and other firmwide risk management-related applications.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure ServiceNow is optimized for compliance workflows.
Monitor and maintain compliance-related data within the platform.
Policy Updates and Maintenance
Assist in the drafting, review, and revision of internal policies and procedures.
Collaborate with relevant departments (Legal, Talent Solutions, Firmwide Information Technology, other portions of Firmwide Risk Management) to maintain current policy documentation, including accomplishing an annual review of all policies and procedures.
Maintain a centralized repository of current policies and procedures, making it as easy as possible for employees and partners to find policies and procedures.
Compliance-related Communications
Develop draft compliance bulletins, reminders, and updates to be shared via the firm’s standard SharePoint-related communication vehicles.
Support the “Ask a Compliance Question” functionality, along with employees in the United States of America, to maintain broad coverage for all employees and partners.
Support policy awareness campaigns to reinforce The Crowe Way and the related culture.
Compliance Reporting
Prepare regular reports for senior management on policy exceptions, compliance status and related risks.
Support compliance monitoring, as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Talent Solutions, Firmwide IT, Risk Management functions and other groups across the firm, support efforts to continue to align compliance activities with the firm’s 2030 strategy.
Provide subject-matter expertise and guidance to cross-functional project teams when compliance considerations are required.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems or legal studies combined with an associate system administrator certification from ServiceNow.
Key Qualifications:
Candidate must have at least five (5) years of relevant experience in working in compliance and/or risk management-related activities with the ability to work effectively in a high-volume, dynamic, and diverse environment with rapidly shifting priorities, focused on risk management.
Candidate must have at least an assistant system administrator certification with ServiceNow.
Candidate will be required to take initiative to manage a volume of requests, and candidates will need the ability to multi-task, manage substantial workloads with changing priorities, be focused on quality of work delivery, client-centric, and be team oriented.
Candidate must be well organized and able to meet deadlines, while possessing sound business judgment, discretion, flexibility, a willingness to learn, and superior writing and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with SharePoint would be beneficial.
The selected candidate will report to the Assistant Compliance Director of the firm located in the United States of America.
This position will assist with managing Crowe LLP’s governance, risk and compliance-related matters and will have the opportunity to learn general practices in a wide variety of areas. Successful candidate must also be willing to learn about Crowe LLP’s various business units, products, business processes and must commit to following The Crowe Way, the firm’s Code of Business Conduct.
