Senior Finance Specialist - India

Job Title : Senior Finance Operation Analyst - Language Spanish and Portuguese.

Location : Pune, India

The position will be part of Global Shared Services team (OTC Collections) in Pune.

Job Summary :

The Collector will oversee the daily operations of the collections department, ensure prompt and eƯicient debt recovery while keep prominent levels of customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a portfolio of Mexican customers.

Key Responsibilities :

o Ensure prompt collections of outstanding balances from customers according to Cornerstone credit & collections policy.

o Managing incoming calls, preferably around Credit & Collections. Negotiation with customers and Internal partners, dealing with collections, dispute management, account reconciliations, charges/payments.

o Anticipate and communicate with customer services, sales representative, customer about disputed items, present and potential payment issues, credit hold situation.

o Support and be backup for other collector’s associates.

o Collaborate closely with the billing & Cash app team lead about all collection’s issues.

o Keep correct and up to date logs of individual customer information.

Qualifications :

o Education: B.com/ MBA in finance, or a related field.

o Experience: 5+ years of experience in similar roles; experience in O2C, collections in an Outsourcing/BPO Industry.

Skills :

o Languages: Fluent or native in Spanish and Portuguese.

o Strong understanding of collection processes and regulations.

o Interpersonal skills & strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

o Strong knowledge of MS oƯice especially Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.

o Advance English and good written and verbal communication skills to interact upward and cross functionally are necessary.

o Must be comfortable working in a global company across multiple time zones specially willing to work in US & EMEA time zone.

o Knowledge Required: Understanding of customer accounts and general business workflows, as well as basic accounting knowledge.

o ERP: Oracle, Salesforce would be beneficial. Highly involved user who maximizes the potential of a software and with prominent level of advanced excel skills.

o Interpersonal skills: Capacity of fluent interpersonal communication and negotiation both with external and internal customers. Sense of ownership and responsibility.
