Junior Engineer - .NET

We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Development Intern to join an agile and talented team in delivering a rich e-learning experience to users around the world. In this role you will be designing and developing secure and performant applications using numerous technologies like .NET, ReactJS, Kafka, SQL, Angular, and many more. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about building quality software and is comfortable in an agile delivery model. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced developers, contributing to real projects that impact on our user base.

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:

• Collaborate with the software development team to design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET, ReactJS, Angular and SQL.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
• Work on front-end and back-end development tasks, with a focus on enhancing user experiences and system performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing features.
• Conduct research and provide recommendations on new technologies and tools that can improve development processes.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Attend regular team meetings and contribute to project planning and progress discussions.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of development and design fundamentals in ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, .net Core
• Strong understanding of development and design fundamentals in client frameworks such as ReactJS, jQuery, AngularJS, JavaScript
• Strong understanding of development and design fundamentals in Microsoft SQL Server along with exposure to NoSQL DB like Cassandra/MongoDB
• Understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with Data Science, AI/ML Concepts is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated with a passion for learning and technology.
• Innovative, resourceful, passionate about creating high-quality, high performance and highly available software.

• Should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of data structure and algorithms.
• Experience with other programming languages and frameworks is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
