Position Overview:
Our federal government client is implementing an enterprise MuleSoft integration platform to support a large-scale digital modernization initiative. They are seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Technical Architect to help establish the enterprise architecture, best practices, and governance for the platform.
This is not a traditional consulting engagement. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with an experienced internal development team, providing architectural leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer while helping build a sustainable long-term integration capability.
The architect will establish the technical foundation before additional development resources are added to the project.

Key Responsibilities:
Clearance Requirement: Secret
- Lead the enterprise architecture and design of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Design scalable, reusable API-led connectivity architecture.
- Develop enterprise integration patterns and standards.
- Architect integrations across hybrid cloud and cloud environments.
- Design secure integrations between enterprise applications including Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, HRMS and other internal systems.
- Establish governance, API lifecycle management, security, monitoring and best practices.
- Provide architectural guidance throughout production implementation.
- Review solution designs produced by development teams.
- Mentor and coach internal technical resources.
- Deliver ongoing knowledge transfer and architectural documentation.
- Work collaboratively with internal technical staff rather than independently delivering solutions.
- Help transition the organization from legacy integration platforms to MuleSoft.
- 8+ years enterprise integration experience.
- 5+ years hands-on MuleSoft architecture experience.
- Multiple enterprise MuleSoft implementations delivered into production.
- Extensive experience with:
- MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- API-led Connectivity
- REST APIs
- Event-driven integration
- Hybrid Cloud
- CloudHub
- On-premises integrations
- Experience designing reusable enterprise APIs.
- Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as:
- Salesforce
- Oracle
- SAP
- HRMS
- Legacy enterprise applications
- Strong understanding of enterprise security and governance.
- Experience mentoring developers and internal technical teams.
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments.
- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect
- MuleSoft Platform Architect Certification
- Additional MuleSoft certifications considered an asset.
- Federal Government experience considered a strong asset.
- Experience replacing legacy integration platforms.
